DVD's

When we engage in dialogue with those in rural areas, we are attempting to capture some of their perspectives through video. This way, TRIP can act as a conduit for knowledge from rural communities to make its way to government and academic partners. We are developing a series of short DVD's to showcase the realities of rural tourism development and spur discussion on areas that we can improve on together.

TRIP Extension Tour Video

This short 6 minute video provides a glimpse of what happens when the TRIP team heads out on their annual extension tour. Dialogue on rural tourism in BC: Perspectives from the road (coming soon!)

This short 15 minute video showcases some of the perspectives of community leaders and operators in rural areas of BC with respect to tourism development.  This video is useful at understanding the realities of tourism development in rural areas and could be used to engage people in discussion about how we can collectively move forward.
