The TRIP team gives presentations to different groups on aspects of tourism development. For examples of some of our previous presentations, see the list below. If you are interested in having one of the TRIP team do a presentation on an aspect of tourism development in your community, contact the project coordinator to discuss your needs further.
- Sustainable tourism for aboriginal communities
This presentation was given by Dan McDonald (Malaspina University-College) who is a collaborator on the TRIP team. It was used in the Learning Initiatives for Rural and Remote Communities (LIRN) initiative for a workshop on Aboriginal tourism development in Quesnel in November, 2007.
- Innovation in tourism: what is new in the tourism puzzle?
Presentation on innovators in rural BC given at the 2007 Council of Tourism Association Conference held in Victoria (Feb 22nd). The presentation was given by Dr. Nicole Vaugeois, TRIP coordinator and Richard Giele, TRIP liaision (Malaspina University-College Bachelor of Tourism Management student).
